the current incarnation (room arrangement No. 137)... however, the record player may soon go where the couch is.
It is with regret that we must note Canon A3100, better known as "31" to his friends, has departed to that ultimate photo session in the sky, where the light is always perfect and the subjects stand still. 31 suffered a fall during a routine photo op but for a number of days seemed to be okay. Suddenly, however, he developed an ominous metallic grinding noise whenever the lens housing extended. Concerned, the Photog took him in to the emergency care center at Best Buy (with receipt, and service agreement). Emergency technicians there transported him to the Best Buy critical care facility with the promise that he would be repaired and back as good as new. However, a week later, the tragic call came through announcing 31 could not be revived. Whether it was the fall, or the fact that 31 took a little over 10,000 photos in two years, that caused his demise could not be determined. On a more sinister note, however, informed sources inside the Office of Household Budgetary Controls (OHBC) imply that the insurance proceeds may have been a factor. Photog had been noted lingering in the new camera section of Best Buy which has led to unfortunate suspicions. Photog's attorney vehemently denies the insinuations. Whatever the cause, let us remember the fine work that 31 created during his all to brief career.
