Hey everyone! I'm excited to share my submission for the current Spoonflower Doodle Bug challenge. I've created a whimsical illustration featuring celestial bugs, which I hope will bring a smile to your face! These delightful bugs are depicted as frolicking among the lush foliage, adding a touch of magic to the scene. I had so much fun creating this piece, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Upholstery project by Joan McLemore

This was my first attempt to upholster a furniture piece. I found a bargain zipper/cording foot on Etsy and went to work making my cording. The formerly yellow naugahyde stool (which I got for five bucks) is covered with the buy one, get one fat quarters in linen cotton. I decided to make the cording using Ultra cotton to minimize extra thickness of sewing through 4 layers of fabric for adding the welt. So it basically it is covered with a half yard of linen cotton, not including the amount I needed in the Ultra cotton to make my welt/cord.

The design is called Danish Modern Evening Shade.
