As I watched the waves filling this rock pool and then receding I noticed the spiralling effect in the pool, as though a sink was being emptied. It was a magical night, and it just added another element . The version of Spiralling on my playlist is by The Unthanks.
Spiraled thread on a tomato sauce jar. The outside diameter of the mouth of the jar is 65.8mm. HMM. Thanks to anybody that stops here to look, like and/or comment.

Look at this beautiful tree I found in the middle of the forest a while ago (Finding a tree in the forest is a big deal, isn't it? It's a funny phrase for sure, but I only realized that while writing this).
In the soft light that falls through the light veil of mist that hangs in the air around me, the bright orange leaves wind up like stairs.
If I look at it for a while, I almost feel like it's starting to spin in circles to spiral upwards.

My first composite to show the spiral dance of these butterflies. They were performing this act in my view for quite some time. Occasionally there were three and it was difficult to capture that. These spiral dances last seconds and move upward rapidly.
