again, Babič's Mill on the River Mura in Slovenia but here I thought I'd have a go at long exposure to get motion blur in the spinning wheels; although the structure appeared to be firmly anchored, I would soon find out that the ship mill was in fact constantly swinging with the flow of water, however imperceptibly; this is the only shot (out of 5 tries) that turned out to be relatively presentable (with the help of editing)

Long exposure including a fun ride on a Christmas market in Glasgow, seen from my hotel window in the 12th floor.

"Spinning Around"

I guess that I am too late for this to be added into the group as it is 8:47 pm my time and 2:47 pm Brussels time. At least I tried to come up with an idea.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

For this week's Macro Mondays challenge "Motion" I went with a dollar as my subject.

To capture this shot I used two LED lights one on the right and one on the left side. Both had a yellow filter on them. I also used a flash set to the following. Using the multi flash method 1/16 sec, 4 flashes, at 1hz. I then spun the coin.

The camera settings are f16, shutter 3.2 sec at ISO 100.

I have 3 other photos that I thought about using which are in the Macro_Test album if you want to take a look. Test 2 and 3 were taken using this same method where test one the flash was hand held and I fired it once manually.

If you fav this photo please leave a comment as to why you like it, thanks in advance.

I was checking out at Walgreens yesterday and saw these little "Fidget Spinners". Spinning them is supposed to be relaxing (or something like that).

Extending the shutter to get that spinning motion.

(Brian) Eno’s voice was wonderfully described by Geeta Dayal as “paper-thin like a piece of phyllo dough: it stacks well on itself, giving way to a layered, golden richness.” It was made for harmonies.

”Spinning away, like the night sky at Arles.” It’s Eno as Van Gogh painting The Starry Night, but not the hippie saint of Don McLean’s “Vincent” or a century’s worth of tormented artist biopics. It’s Van Gogh as an Eno, as a craftsman: working up sketches, drafting in pencil, moving to oils, bringing the night sky down into the frame of his canvas, making threads from loops and dots. He steps back to see the whole. “I have no idea exactly what I’ve drawn,” he sings. “Some kind of change.” The hub of the album’s circles, “Spinning Away” sings the making of itself.

For me, Eno's voice is like a choir of angels. This song is one of my all time favorites.

Life can feel like it is spinnnig sometimes. Round and round I go at high speed. Like this week for ex.

Still, the core is calm. The core here the red rose.

Bokeh created by weird lens. Probably a lens with reversed front glass.

The Mad Tea Party at Disneyland in California in the Fantasyland section of the park. This perhaps is one of my favorite places in the park. The energy at this spot is quite electric. The sounds from the Matterhorn and other attractions while under the lanterns makes for some pretty happy spins and smiles.
