I guess i should add an explanation to these. I uploaded them on Saturday night when i got back from the hospital just before we went out (yep, that's how we roll).
I was the passenger in Mike's car on Clay road doing probably 30-35 mph coming up to the Beltway 8 intersection when a guy in a Chevy Truck jumped a left turn red to cross our path. There was no screeching in the road or anything really, we just ploughed straight into the side of him.
The right lens of my glasses shattered, and a shard cut straight into my forehead, making that hole you see in the pictures. No-one else was injured. Mike's arms were burned a bit by the drivers airbag (the arm pics in this set).
I have 15 stitches (3 internal, 12 external) and the promise of a nice scar (the doc assures me that chicks dig scars). Kind of pissed about the scar but glad no-one was seriously injured and we all walked away.
Thinking of calling Jim Adler the Texas Hammer ;)

Spectacles. Every dang day. Gotta love that "I've been in the library, busting arse on stuff for my finals all freakin' day" hair, which also explains the undereye baggage, dazed expression, and the 11:55pm posting of this image.
The light at the end of the tunnel resides in the fact that the semester is over tomorrow! I just need to make sure I can get everything submitted at the right place by the right time. Eek!
