Mothers come in a variety of forms ... whether they're biological, adoptive, stepmoms, "like a mom", grandmothers ... whether we're referring to our own human counterparts or those found in nature and the wilderness ... they all share the loving, nurturing, caring, and special bonding moments of motherhood.
May all of the mothers out there - moms of the two-legged or four-legged "children" - enjoy a very special day to celebrate your precious role in life. :-)

There was just something fresh and wholesome about this woman on the right that grab my attention. Looking at this image closer I think they could be sisters.
Presented here is another of my upcycled-gemstone jewellery. The gemstone here is a collection of chips of genuine & natural Turquoise, beaten and bonded together with copper, along with little bit of coloured cement-glue. This is probably as close as possibly you can get to large pieces of Turquoise.
Genuine gemologists and gem-traders know very well, how rare are turquoises to get. What you usually get in market are either man-made materials or a natural gemstone, grey-veined Howlite (dyed blue) to imitate Turquoise colour and style.

Missy turned 10 years old today. Here we are nearly 10 years ago, she was 10 weeks old and I was 11. Although Missy is my sister's dog and doesn't live with me, we share such a special bond together that will always be there. I still have Missy to stay around my house every weekend.

The toughest part of having furry family is knowing they won’t be with you forever. Although this is a very sad time, what you do with your time together is priceless. Midnight gave us 9 years of her love and company. Our thank you to her was to take her to her favorite places for one last dip in the ocean.

Spent a good majority of the last 20 months doing this. The most amazing time spent with my sweet girl.
FYI: If you cannot say anything nice I suggest you not say anything at all.

This is my best guy friend at university. James knows me really well and it is amazing to know he is there for me.
Gosh it was cold taking this picture! I'm surprised it hasn't snowed yet. All the puddles have frozen over and are really solid... and slippery.
James, Danielle and a bunch of people I know have our first exam tomorrow. Wish us luck!
This picture is from my selfie gallery from the very first football game. It's funny to see how much we have grown up since that point. It was our very first football game, and we were just learning the ropes of the cheers and songs. I felt like a buckeye then, but after all of the games and classes I have gone through, I know I am a buckeye now. The girl in the back of my photo is now my best friend, and we do everything together. It is funny how I can get to know someone and not realize how special they can become! I choose this picture initially because I thought it was fun, and a cool angle, but I choose it now because it represents so much more. A now great friendship, and now a great team going to the playoffs. This picture really makes me realize how true carmen ohio is. "Time and Change will surely show, How firm thy friendship...." We all have grown together as friends, family, and an Ohio state support system like no other. I can grow up as a buckeye, and grow stronger friendships as well.

This was taken on Emily and Hunter's 3rd birthday, in the back of papaw's '73 Chevy truck. I've always loved this picture...the way they're staring and grinning at each other...they have such a special bond. :-)
