The Spa Footbridge opened on 19 July 1827, and crowds flocked to see a mail coach and horses gallop at full speed across it. The bridge became a fashionable promenade and provided panoramic sea and harbour views and a link from Scarborough centre to the South Cliff. This spectacular iron construction spans the valley between the Esplanade and St Nicholas Cliff and remains a popular route into Town for guests staying in the South Cliff area.

De stad staat bekend om zijn zachte klimaat en warme, licht radioactieve thermische bronnen. De bronnen werken tegen reuma en andere gewrichtsaandoeningen. Er is ook een grote spa, 16 sanatoria en motels. Sinds de stad in 1934 via het spoor bereikbaar is komen er jaarlijks 100.000 patiënten naar de stad. (In de Sovjet tijd, dat wel)

This is one of Karijini's iconic locations located in the far northwest corner of the park. It's a fantastic location for a swim and this deep pool is a great spot for that. Overall, I tried to photograph the scene in a slightly different way again - this time with some afternoon light coming through the top of the scene (very accentuated).
