I thought you should all be brought up to speed with a story (sorry reportage) that has broken over the last couple of days, Cornwall is to build a satellite launch system at Newquay Airport, currently being developed overseas🚀

You may have heard Hugh Edwards mention this on News at Ten a few nights ago.

This system intends to despatch rockets into space from under the wing of a converted Typhoon jet.

Now who do we know that has such an aircraft, yes our very own H & H,🐎🐷 the one they bought on eBay.

The investment offer is dependent on Spaceport Cornwall and A. N. Other putting together a business plan.✈️

Guess what, yes H & H have put in a tender, watch this space, see what I did there. If they pull this deal off they know that they will have to take on men, as their business portfolio is growing beyond all recognition.📘📘📕📕

They have their daily space flights to Mars, which has taken off well, there is the time travel division of the company, yes I know Horace has only just cut the roof off the Jensen Interceptor, however we did seem to loose twelve days recently !!

Horace also has his after dinner speaking duties, the village vicar has booked him for the foreseeable future, and of course Hoof has his sports consultancy business, the courts at Wimbledon will look the best ever this year, and he is hoping to have the new roof on No 1 court finished for the opening of the tournament this year, wow !!! 🎾🎾🎾

Vehicles like this one were a common and unremarked sight at spaceports across the galactic disc. They were used for parking sleek space-liners and hulking space-freighters on their pads. The universal clamping system featured sliding jaws that could grip the landing gear of any spacecraft.

Interestingly, the design started life as a concept vehicle. Llwyngwril Systems were unhappy about the steering geometry caused by the shape of the wheels that were available and wanted to improve it. The goal was to pivot the wheels nearer the centre of the tyre tread, rather than outside, so that wheels could be more easily fitted inside wheel arches.

Here's my contribution to Lego Star Wars II videogame collab that me, ctr_bricks and Pablo are doing mainly in this year. The whole collab is about building single episodes from the original SW game that all of us three really enjoyed as kids. Our goal is to have modern techniques combined with iconic details such as levitating studs, containers, True Jedi bars, etc. across all our little MOCs.

I built this particular level a while ago, but it needed some refreshment and due to coronaholidays it was more than possible. :)

Is there a more wretched hive of scum and villainy place than Mos Eisley? I believe there isn't.

I've been wanting to photograph a towns and spaceports from the Star Wars Trilogy for a long time now. A certain spaceport town in my mind, I did my research and came to a conclusion, where I didn't wanted to build a part of a town in Lego minifigs scale, as I simply don't have space to store it and it probably wouldn't offer a much of a photographic challenge, either. So, here is the first view of a town called Mos Eisley, in microscale!

This MOC started with that big container from the LEGO Vidiyo Beatboxes. I thought it makes a perfect cockpit for a rover. And these cupcake elements from LEGO Dots transformed nicely into wheels. The big gun-turret-looking thing on the back was inspired by „Big Wind“, the craziest fire vehicle you have ever seen! Google it!

In 2018, the Moine peninsula was selected as the site for the United Kingdom's first spaceport despite much objection. Launches could first take place by 2022.

A Northrop Grumman Antares rocket lifts off from the Mid Atlantic Regional Spaceport at Wallops Island, Virginia delivering supplies and experiments to the International Space Station. You can read more about mission NG-17 from my friends at Spaceflight Insider.

I remember wandering back to my hotel that evening, walking through this space wondering what on earth is this architecture all about. This was another area of a night market I was exploring that evening. This is another shot from Seoul in 2016.

The James Webb Space Telescope is safely stowed inside the fairing of ESA’s Ariane 5 launch vehicle, which is now on the launch pad undergoing final checks and fuelling for a targeted liftoff at 12:20 GMT / 13:20 CET on 25 December from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana.

Webb will be the largest, most powerful telescope ever launched into space. As part of an international collaboration agreement, ESA is providing the telescope’s launch service using the Ariane 5 launch vehicle. Working with partners, ESA was responsible for the development and qualification of Ariane 5 adaptations for the Webb mission and for the procurement of the launch service by Arianespace.

Webb is an international partnership between NASA, ESA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

I'm almost in Mos Eisley. A spaceport town, where you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. And I must be cautious. Those are the words I've kept hearing in my head while I was approaching it.

While I was getting closer and closer of Mos Eisley, I saw the Millennium Falcon getting in the air from a one of its hangars. A moment was gone in secs, but I was lucky (as always) and got a photograph of the situ.

Here's something new for the start of the new year. This is the first photo of my Mos Eisley Spaceport project in Lego. I believe, I can even call this town a MOC (My Own Creation), as I've never build anything for my photography needs (other than lighting fixtures, which are not showing in the scenes). I'm going to continue to explore within this micro/mini Lego project of mine and see whether I can get more scenes photographed from the Mos Eisley Spaceport!

And it was about time to have a new photograph of the Millennium Falcon here on my stream! I haven't seen that piece of junk like in years!

Commander Sohail has the 81 light year interstellar flight preprogrammed to New Pothwar from Islamabad Spaceport. Sohail has been recognized for valor and honor as well integrity as a fine Pakistani Starfleet Officer and now he will get some much needed rest and relaxation. It's a go for launch in pakistani spacetruck state of the art technology all the way.
