Extract from a video posted on X, ex-Twitter, by the excellent @sovietvisuals and described as a Russian language course for foreigners.

The customer couple are first offered a 6x6 Kiev SLR. Then a Zorki-4 or 4k, and finally a Smena-8m.

I'm inclined to think of it as a bit of macho condescension, considering that the lady shouldn't be entrusted with a camera that's too complicated...

Perhaps a Russian speaker can confirm my impression? As well as clarifying other interesting elements of the dialogue, such as the price of the device?

J'ai tendance à un y voir un peu de condescendance machiste consistant à considérer qu'il ne faut pas confier à Madame un appareil trop compliqué...

Un locuteur russe pourra peut-être confirmer mon impression ? Ainsi que préciser d'autres éléments intéressants du dialogue, comme le prix de l'appareil ?
