This image was obtained from the deck of a boat approaching the docks. A calm day made it not too difficult. When the lake has more waves, and the boat is pitching, it is easy to get a diagonal shot that mandates an extreme crop to save the image.

South Rim, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, USA

The South Kaibab Trail is a hiking trail in Grand Canyon National Park.

Unlike the Bright Angel Trail which also begins at the south rim of Grand Canyon and leads to the Colorado River, the South Kaibab Trail follows a ridge out to Skeleton Point allowing for 360-degree views of the canyon.

K596 rolls south at South Ottawa, Ohio. One can almost smell the fresh paint on the new rebuilt 4556.

The south shore of the Great Salt Lake is pretty easy to reach from an access road that parallels I-80. These are mudflats, swampy, and conditions change often.

That is Antelope Island, the largest of ~10 islands in the Great Salt Lake.

The Great Salt Lake - GPS is the exact spot of the shot.

The South Downs Way is a long distance walking path following the chalk downlands of Hampshire and Sussex. This stretch is between Bignor Hill and Amberley in Sussex.
