With over 170 odorant receptors, Honey Bees (Apis mellifera) are wildly skilled creatures. In contrast, mosquitoes only havw about 80 such receptors. Houseflies...60. What do they do with this super sniffing power? Why, find flowers, of course. And with their keen flower sniffing power, they can tell the difference between hundreds of flower varieties from yards away, and even identify whether or not there is pollen or nectar within. Beyond its flowering ferreting use, their sense of smell also helps bees communicate with one another!

To go on and on again about my disability but I have had enough now,not only can i not walk, I struggle with my fingers/arms/hands i am now struggling iwith my eyesight. I struggled to take this on Saturday. I can't do this anymore on my own.

Last week sometime, there was some activity on an old photo from a few years back. So I went to the photo and looked at some of the contacts and saw a name of a lady I had not seen in my stream for some time.
So I visited her stream to see what she had been up to knowing that sometimes people just stop posting for some reason or another. Someone commented that she had passed away and I immediately felt saddened. I realize that we have only small relationships here. But I do know some small things about my contacts and what you like to shoot and basically where you live.
I was upset with myself for having forgotten her or not noticing. I have been bothered all week that a year or more have gone by and I wish I had of known.
Yet her stream is there. This I love.

Jack in play mode. Sorry I’m way behind again. Will try and catch up some point over the next few days. Had a disastrous time... i smashed my phone screen and my laptop decided to wipe itself clean so lost many many thousands of photos in the process. It’s now in the repair shop hoping to recover them all. Luckily most seem to be saved on my one drive however I’ve none from this year so I’m hoping Andy the pc man manages to work a miracle 😱....xx
