With over 170 odorant receptors, Honey Bees (Apis mellifera) are wildly skilled creatures. In contrast, mosquitoes only havw about 80 such receptors. Houseflies...60. What do they do with this super sniffing power? Why, find flowers, of course. And with their keen flower sniffing power, they can tell the difference between hundreds of flower varieties from yards away, and even identify whether or not there is pollen or nectar within. Beyond its flowering ferreting use, their sense of smell also helps bees communicate with one another!

Sorry I haven't been around much but have been making the most of the late summer weather at my favourite beach. Just another sunset from there! I'll be back soon when the weather turns! Best wishes all and many thanks for your comments and favs!

I was tried again fix up shadow issue on my computer.
but, It was not fixed,,,
I don't have any other choice so I replaced old vga(GTX-960)

This Western Meadowlark has collected some food for the chicks, but having no pockets, must keep them all in its bill until the chicks have been fed. I see the leg of a grasshopper and some type of caterpillar in its beak.

Sorry guys I've been off for a while. I think I'm loosing the spark for photography. I feel like I'm doing repetitive work. I don't see what I used to see looking through the viewfinder. I just hope it's a phase and it will go away. Enjoy your day.

I have to say that you will see many others when I upload my photos from Casteluccio di Norcia. It seems that Europe is the paradise of this flower in which the simplicity in inversely proportional to the charm.

To go on and on again about my disability but I have had enough now,not only can i not walk, I struggle with my fingers/arms/hands i am now struggling iwith my eyesight. I struggled to take this on Saturday. I can't do this anymore on my own.
