This flower is one of two survivors after the hail storm in Brisbane on 27 Nov 2014. Others... shredded in pieces.

My cat decided he'd cooperate with me this time, he took the position on the soft blanket and anything else would be just an unneeded effort. So I managed to get a few photos, this time.

There's a circus not far from my place, just next to a shopping mall parking lot. Apparently, it's a popular place, and the sheer volume of cars and people is visibly larger than usual.

While I have no intentions of attending the show, I appreciate the visuals there – pointy tent tops and all the lights.

Cité station lies underneath the Île de la Cité, one of two islands on the Seine within the historical boundaries of Paris. In relation to the rest of the city, it lies within the 4th arrondissement, near Kilometre Zero, the official geographical and historical centre of Paris.

Very interesting flower. Does anyone know this protea's name?

In the remote highlands of Scotland, pall bearers used to leave stones at every rest point on their route taking the deceased to the nearest cemetery. Normally just piles of stones, this one near the head of Glen Coe has been restored by the National Trust.

Down in London for an Awards Ceremony for work. Managed to grab half an hour outside (more than enough time to get soaked) and take some shots of the nearest landmark then dash back!

Will catch up when I can!
