Las Cruces, New Mexico with the Organ Mountains in the background. Taken 11 April 2023 at 6:48 PM with sunset at 7:34 PM. Ten image pano shot at 200mm. Mileage shown on the landmark notes was measured in Google Earth to the I-10 Rest Stop. Big changes will come in the next half hour and the shadows become more pronounced.
The original is way too big to download into Flick and unfortunately a lot of detail is lost along the way. I've been trying to locate my son's home that is somewhere behind the Home2 Suites on the far left of the image. I'm pretty sure I'll locate it but it takes lot's of correlation to Google Earth.
In my son's garden.....Gosh! there are more than 50 plants, hedges, and trees in their garden. I can take as many shots as my heart contents. :-))
Photo taken in my son's garden. I know that on Saturday all this will be cut off so we both with Maija enjoyed green grass and tiny colourful flowers yesterday
Mummy, I did something you might not like but you will have a cool shot for sure. He was right! What do you think? :-)
Today I got to meet my son's new puppy, Chunk, and he's a rather gorgeous bag of Shar Pei wrinkliness.
Found parked in my son's neighborhood. And yes, my son says he works for Lone Star and uses the car in parades and other marketing events.

Yesterday we had a beautiful party with beloved friends! My little boy was very happy and that is what I wish for him.Happiness in his life!
This gorgeous blousy bloom is in my son's garden. When I saw it I was blown away and wanted to share it with those of you who continue to follow me and my work despite my general lack of response. Peter is really poorly - 2 lots of chemo have failed to work and we are about to embark on a third series of a new, apparently highly toxic form of immunotherapy. My head is full of garbage, and is failing to engage with so much, while Peter is extremely positive and quite certain that science will not let him down in the end, having lived and prospered from it all his life so far.
I want to thank you all for being there.
Our son's rescue dog, Bruno. A mellow giant, he likes to sleep at your feet and get his ears scratched.

I am still at my son's home, recovering from kidney stones surgery. I just learned that Russellville Park is experiencing a COVID outbreak, so i won't be returning there anytime soon!
I'm ready to go in the driver's seat of my son's golf cart. Captured for Smile on Saturday theme: View the V... HSoS everyone!
From a visit to Teignmouth on my oldest son's 11th birthday a week ago. The weather was sublime with the low winter sun offering many great photo opportunities. The structure reminding me of Sauron's Dark Tower is part of a groyne lining the beach, covered in barnacles and seaweed.
Most likely my son last collegiate lacrosse game, sad day. It's been a staple of our lives for more than a decade. Nick Kirschke #16 for Christopher Newport University
A son's need to establish his own identity may be a source of conflict and frustration for fathers who have an opinion of who or what their sons should become. Differences are not right or wrong, and dads must allow their sons to take path in life of their choosing.

Here are a few of my husband's and son's optical equipment. As you can see there is a 100m binoculars, a 6" Meade Refractor telescope, and a 100m spotting scope.
Every day the deer come to my son's house and search for apples that they through out for them, and this was the first day I had my camera with me with a longer lens on. These were shot through the family room window since I was not able to quietly open the kitchen door onto the deck because of the snow up against it. A few photos later I realized the occasional white streaks I was getting in my photos recently were due to a shutter failure. After only 60,000 activations (in less than 3 years) I am very happy I purchased the 3 year extended warranty (so I ahve 4 years) when I bought the camera, but when I was told it would take 8-10 weeks to get the camera back I must say I am not very impressed with Canon's service.
