To complete the little series I started yesterday here is the second minimalistic seascape.

~~Chez certains insectes, les œufs et les larves doivent être déposés précisément sur leurs ressources alimentaires. La femelle est donc très sélective lors de la ponte.
Chez certaines, elles pondent les œufs de manière aléatoire sur le substrat. Chez d'autres, Elles les déposent en masse sur le feuillage ou les posent individuellement sur le plant. D'autres pondent à l'intérieur des racines, des tiges et à travers des troncs d'arbres à l'aide d'un organe spécialisé appelé ovipositeur.
Les mantes, les blattes et certains orthoptères pondent leurs œufs en masse dans une capsule protectrice appelée oothèque. Cette mousse de protéines forme une carapace solide assurant une protection contre d'éventuels prédateurs.

It took quite a few racks to get the timing right on this one. 1 sec exposure on the timer and the break immediately after the start.

In Japan there are different sizes available. They sale the small, medium & large versions. In Japan they are actually Solid Markers. There is no hole in the middle where you crank it up. The Japanese versions have removable sections so that you do not have deal with twisting them to get a writable surface. You can see on the large version these removable sections.
Snapped this old solider on Remembrance Sunday 6 years ago, still one of my favourite images ever. A gentleman and a hero.
I took this photo on a tour of Gloucester's Dock area. The shot is actually of part of a large art installation / statue that extends what must be 20 feet or more in the air. Visually impressive, but I have no idea what it is meant to represent!

My custom Solid Snake figure, I mainly made him because I want Snake back in Smash even though there is a small chance of that happening plus Snake is cool so yeah. BTW #FuckKonami
The face is a generic Bruce Wayne face with beard painted on and some lines on the eyes to have a more squint effect and I painted the neck the same color as the body to have him look more in the suit. I only sculpted the pouches on his chest and a little hair he has on his bandanna at the top you can see closely (Thanks for the suggestion Curtis!). The bandanna speaking of is made of cut electric tape that goes all around the hair nicely. Other than that everything is painted.

I'm working on my solids only improv quilt again. My son (almost 4) wants to have this one as his next quilt.
1956 Chevrolet 210 model four door sedan. At the Back to the Fifties car show. It appears to be unrestored but in very solid condition. From the lack of a v on the trunk, it probably is a six cylinder too.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75 lens with a HOYA HMC 82mm O[G]) filter using Adox CHS 100 II film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
Since I make Vulcan Raven and the Gurlukovich Soldier from the Metal Gear Solid series, I had to make Snake really!!
The hair was a Poly Resin Sculpt. The rest was make using my usual methods, which some of you will probably know by now, although the base of his tac harness is made from real grey leather.
In hindsight, I could have used a Barbosa head for this, but I'm never confident that the sculpts will turn out good, so I don't risk wasting a nice fleshie head. Besides, I'm quite happy with the hand painted face on this one.
Modded a BrickArms Socom for Snakes weapon. Could've made the M9 tranquilizer gun, but I wanted Snake to go lethal for once!!

If your gonna build a house and raise a family, why not use a covered pavilion and an iron foundation. It should be rock solid...sorry I didn't get to meet this bird while visiting the Tennsco Steam Engine in Dickson, Tn.
