Momiji Ugly! Momiji = maple tree in Japanese. Green, orange, yellow, red, brown and white sprays, brushwork and watercolored maple leaved - yellow vinyl. The leaves can be positioned as you desire, as they cling very naturally to the wool fibre 'vine'.

Vintage soft vinyl figures of Rei Ayanami and Asuka Langley Soryu by Tsukuda Hobby released in 1996. Both are slightly over 10 inches tall. 1/6th scale. Nowadays most of anime sofubi figures are ready made ones with high standard of finish but when this set appeared back then the anime character vinyl figures were mainly released as unpainted, unassembled model kits. If my memory serves me correctly, it would be safe to say that these are of early generation factory painted and completed sofubi figures in decent quality made in China for Japanese manufacturers. The set includes two round black bases and support shafts and waist clips to make the figures stand.
