Space Amoeba, released in Japan as Gezora, Ganime, Kamoeba: Decisive Battle! Giant Monsters of the South Seas (ゲゾラ・ガニメ・カメーバ 決戦! 南海の大怪獣 "Gezora Ganime Kameba Kessen! Nankai no Kaijuu"?), is a 1970 Kaiju film produced and released by Toho Studios. I am glad to add this sofubi figure to my collection! Bandai MMS figures are great for affordable prices and yet good quality for mass production. So cool!

Additional Info: This Papa Panda sofubi figure is based on the 1972 Japanese animated film Panda Kopanda (Panda, Baby Panda), retitled in English as Panda! Go, Panda!
The Papa Panda sofubi features articulation in the head, arms, and legs, allowing for a variety of poses. A loose magnet is housed inside the figure, designed to interact with the magnet embedded in the separately sold baby panda named Pan-chan figure.
When the two figures are brought together, the magnets allow Papa Panda to hold Pan-chan, recreating one of the pair’s most endearing gestures. This thoughtful feature transforms the two figures from individual objects into an interactive display that captures the warmth and playful spirit of Panda, Kopanda.
There is a copyright date of 2015 on Papa Panda left foot. But actual sales and release was not until 2016. The figures were previewed at various events like the January 2016 Super Festival and February 2016 Wonder Festival, prior to its official sales release in March 2016. Sales was directly through Dune and select general merchandise retailers during this time. In May 2021, Hashimoto Gangu was provided an exclusive direct restock rerelease of both Papa and Pan-chan figures only as a set for 12,760 yen (taxed). There was an option to buy two separate Hashimoto Gangu wood base stands with the Hashimoto Gangu name printed on the stands for the figures.
