Some mornings aren’t remembered for the events that took place…
…but for the feeling they left behind.
Some Sundays aren’t meant for rushing.
They’re meant for sleepy eyes, jumbled thoughts, warm sunshine… and the comforting scent of freshly baked bread.
This morning, I wandered down to my favorite little bakery while the world was still waking up. The air was already warm, birds were singing somewhere among the rooftops, and, for once, no one seemed to be in a hurry.
Now I catch myself smiling over the smallest decision.
Should I stay a little longer, order a creamy cappuccino, and simply enjoy this peaceful morning?
Or should I take fresh bread and sweet pastries back to my cozy little cottage, curl up on the couch, and wait for Valerie to wake up so we can share breakfast together?
Sometimes, happiness isn’t about making the right choice.
Sometimes both options already feel perfect.
Maybe that’s what beautiful Sundays are really about.
Not doing more…
Just enjoying what already feels enough.
