Sofia Pinchuk - Erasmus + student from Ukraine at the dormitory of the Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland
Sofia Pinchuk had been studying in Poland and had finished the Erasmus course when war broke out and she found she was not able to get back home. She immediately received support from the Erasmus+ UKR office and continued her studies for 1 more year on full scholarship and funds to live and travel.
In response to the current situation in Ukraine, many European universities have offered their support to Ukrainian students by enrolling them in their courses, reducing or waiving tuition fees, and providing scholarships.

Sofia Talvik (Sweden) - Cameron House
I got my hands on a media pass for Indie Week. This was my first time shooting any kind of live performance. The experience was interesting, and much more difficult than I thought.
Sofia, 21, already has two children and came today because she wants to space her future children so she can look after them all properly - she's aiming for one more.
She's never used family planning before and came today because she sees a lot of women in her village with unplanned pregnancies, and the disastrous results they cause.
She is married, and she and her husband are farmers: they found out about the clinic through a hospital announcement and from friends. Sofia is well aware of how fragile life can be for children here: she is one of only two surviving of her five siblings.
After counselling on all the methods available today, she chose the implant and although she was scared, said felt no pain during the procedure.

Sofia (1,3 Mio. Einwohner) liegt in der Sofiaebene, einer weiten Hochebene im Westen Bulgariens, nahe der Grenze zu Serbien.
Die Stadt befindet sich am nördlichen Hang des 2290 m hohen Witoscha-Gebirges.
Sofia ist seit der Jungsteinzeit kontinuierlich besiedelt und damit eine der ältesten Siedlungen und Städte Europas!!!
