Day 5/365:
I had another shot ready for today but then we had an unexpected visit from our little grandson. I can re-do the other photo much more easily than to try to get this one again. He isn't usually very obliging with the camera.
It's probably not a word, but "snuggletime" to me describes what these little black-necked stilt chicks would do to whichever parent was close-by. After venturing out on their own, they would come back to mom or dad and pop underneath for a bit to rest, feel safe or just be close to them. Besides the chick underneath mom's head, there is a second pair of legs underneath her body. At times all three were buried underneath and all you could see of them were their spindly little legs. So cute!

Some awake shots with the hat :) This little boy loves that blankie..I think that iis one of my fav shots for now..how his hands are pressed up against his little chest. :) Ahhh.
Gracie has the right idea. We had another lovely snowstorm and it's very grey outside.
Let's build a fire and just snuggle. Life's lessons learned from Gracie. Maybe she'll teach us more as she grows.....

Even though Charmin, Sophie & Bella are over a year old, they still snuggle up together for a nap, they are so cute..
For the "places where dogs shouldn't be" challenge in the 52 Weeks for Dogs group.
So many people are shocked to learn how well Gracie gets along with kitties. Coonhounds and cats are not supposed to mix, they say. Well, Gracie loves her kitties. Sleeping on the couch with Hobbes is just where she's supposed to be, she would say.
Bella loves baths and will gladly stand still and wait for you to massage her with the yummy smelling bubble bath. Keely wants out of the tub, she's not so fond of baths and shakes with dissaprovial.
Typical routine on nights when I come home and the wife has to work is dinner, send the wife off, and couch time with the little one for Spongebob. This is my typical view.
We keep it dimly lit, so this is shot with ambient light and handheld, so.... But, I love it so bad. And all the little colorful additions that a little princess requires in her living room
