Zadar was great choice for our holiday.
We are enjoying far away from our village,

Smurfs run so fast that even my Fuji camera couldn’t shot them. I tried to photograph angry Gargamel but he and Azrael disappeared too quickly by some black magic trick. Oh what a strange evening. Maybe I was just dreaming…

We are under a Winter Weather Advisory today, which means that we are not supposed to be going out unless absolutely necessary. We in Central Indiana had rain all day yesterday changing into sleet last night and then 6- 9 inches of snow, which means there is ice under the snow and the roads are very slick. Smurf and Smurfette decided to ignore the warnings and go out anyway. And of course, they slid off the road and got stuck! They don't seem very upset about it, but I bet they will be after waiting hours for a tow truck!

I'm surprised by how many that think Smurfette is the only girl in the village. Granted, at one time she was the only female but as the story was further told Sassette Smurfling and Nanny Smurf were other females living in the village as well. I absolutely loved the Smurflings and was hoping Jakks Pacific would make them as well because they practically made every other character from the cartoon series but didn't get around the making the smurflings. This Sassette is a PVC version made by Irwin I believe from the 90's. I think she matches well with the Jakks Pacific Smurfs at least.

Spring here has brought colors all over. But no one to enjoy, mother nature doesn't seem to care though.
Sammy Smurf is having lots of fun. But he’s about to be in big trouble with Mama Smurfette because he didn’t put away his toys first!

A mushroom I came across while hiking the 12km long Upper Slamon River Trail. A beautiful 12k trail along a river with a few river crossings, high cliffs, and a nice variety of sceneries. The challenge is to tell a story in four pictures. They will be spread throughout the year. I had a very hard time coming up with an idea for this one, as I will be moving in May and needed something that wasn’t dependent on having consistent scenery. Plus Chapter Two will be occuring right about the time I will be moving so having props that aren’t lost in a box somewhere was an additional concern. I think I came up with something. Now lets just hope I can find my Smurfs come May 7th!
