This is one of the pages of a magazine I was commissioned to design for The Sunday Herald. I pretty much got a blank canvas on how to design it which was awesome!
More to follow :)
I kinda like him in this wig more... he looks more playful in it(which he is) <3

I'm a huge smoothie junkie. If I could get all my nutrition from a smoothie, I wouldn't eat!

A delicious natural, low-carb smoothie I made.
Strawberries, rasberries, unsweetened chocolate almond milk, half & half, stevia.
Here is my Banana&spinach smoothie with avocado recipe
Ingredients:
2 bananas
1 orange
1 avocado
less than a handful of flax seeds
3 handful of baby spinach
less than a handful of goji
0,5 l of water
little bit of cinammon
blender
At the first place, put the flax seeds into blender and blend it with water(it is necessary because flax seeds have firm skin, and we need to get all nutrients from it). Then put all ingredients into blender or any container(if you use hand blender) and blend it until smooth:)Cheers!
Worth telling about!
Grapefruit juice, banana, fig. Picked a couple of fresh, ripe(!), figs from a neighbor's tree (prior permission!) this morning. Just one fig gave this blender drink a wonderful color and flavor. Not to mention the health benefits. :-)
Another way to serve dragon fruit. Smoothie made with dragon fruit, bana, honey, yogurt, milk and pomegranate seeds.
Post on my blog.
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is an enriching drink made from pumpkin puree, banana, honey, milk, yogurt and pumpkin pie spice mix. Make it for breakfast this fall and enjoy the season in it's way. Here is the recipe.
Sometimes, I don't feel like eating all my greens and veggies. Those days are perfect for throwing kale, spinach, any other random greens, radish, cucumber, celery, avocado, lime juice, and some spices into a blender. Then I top with other crazy things like goji berries, coconut, hemp seeds, fruit, sometimes chia and cacao nibs. Instead of the chia and cacao in this round, I added my homemade nut-free chocolate granola.
My terror of the green smoothie ended recently when I decided to get over my fear of being a freak green-smoothie-drinking nut case and just try it.
Here's what went into this one:
2c spinach
apple, peeled, cored and sliced
ice
protein powder
3/4 c milk
1/3 c plain greek yogurt
1/2 T honey
Yum.
