A smoothie full of various fruits and berries, a plate with apple slices, plums and a banana.
I really like my current diet.
Thing is though, It´s really lean.
Don´t really give me what I need so I need to add more carbonhydrates, iron, protein and iron.
The recipe for the above drink is a bit odd, but you can find the ingredients in descending order in the tags.
Normally I put my morning smoothie in my red migo mug, but it was not clean so I I used a regular cup. I woke up feeling really happy because it was sunny and Thursday and knew it was going to be a good day, so I decided to use an umbrella straw to add a little more festivity to my day! I have no clue (nor care) what my coworkers think when I come walking it with this drink display.
Largely to support an LJ post; I posted about how the phrase "fave smoothie" made me ill, and a friend commented that she'd misread it as "fava smoothie."
This, in fact, is a spinach smoothie. (It's spinach and cilantro ground up with milk and chicken stock; it's the cooking liquid for arroz verde.)

I love to decorate my food! Today we have a bowl of SMOATS aka smoothie/oats. I blended 1/2 cup of #BobsRedMill 5 grain cereal with some fresh pineapple, papaya, and frozen bananas until it was thick and creamy. I topped it all off with a sprinkle of flaked coconut and a splash of blueberry syrup.

banana, orange, frozen peaches & strawberries...lots of spinach.
Some days I really have to talk myself into making a green smoothie... but I am never disappointed on how I feel after drinking it. If I still need a bit more energy I will drink coffee but at least I got a full serving of veggies to start my day.
