August 16, 2012 (Thursday) - Giving the blender a workout during the heat wave. Here are fresh fruit smoothies w/ extra cherries today.
In July of 2005 when I joined Flickr, I expanded my online presence by uploading a DAILY image to this special photo set. Ever since, I've faithfully added one per day. Doing this provides a direct record of my personal experiences. Of course, I started daily blogging in the fall of 2003 and my eJournal and images entries continue every single day as well.
If you are more into sweet and tender taste, "Smoothie" might be the right cup for you. It will be a charming experience for your lips!

Was really fun to brand and develop this fun yogurt and smoothies concept that allows the guest to build their own yogurt combination. Yummo brand designed to create a contemporary asian yogurt influenced experience for the whole family.

Another green smoothie.
I put in less spinach than the last time since this was going to be Aarons first ever green smoothie and I wanted to make it easy on him.
100ml water.
1 hand full of baby spinach.
100ml Kara dairy free coconut milk.
2 frozen bananas.
1/4 teaspoon honey.
1/4 teaspoon almond butter.
Like always whiz up the spinach and water first until there are no chunks left. Then throw the rest in and blend until it's a consistency you're happy with.
The Kara coconut milk is nothing at all like the stuff in the cans, it's a cows milk substitute and can be used in the same way - even in teas and coffee. It doesn't taste strongly of coconut, in fact you can hardly taste the coconut at all. It makes a good low-fat alternative to regular coconut milk in curries but obviously isn't as strongly flavoured, so a drop of good quality coconut extract will take care of that.
