Bought a book for fun from chapters the other day: Delicious Smoothies
a recipe a day. or so...
serves 2:
1 1/2 cups blueberries
2/3 cup cranberry juice
2/3 cup plain yogurt
I have been on a kick of making fresh fruit smoothies every night with all of this delicious fresh summer fruit that is in season.

Just made this smoothie (with fresh local strawberries from the Farmer's Market!) and finished drinking it while uploading this pic. Yum!
Whenever I had access to a blender, I always made milkshakes. My friend Stefano gave me a blender and I made my first ever homemade smoothie.
Using my four years of experience at Jamba Juice, I was able to throw this together without measuring and you can see how it resulted in a thick and perfect pour.
Ingredients: Minute Maid orange juice, Breyer's Smooth & Dreamy vanilla bean ice cream (half the fat, fewer calories), some mango chunks, and 20 grams of whey protein.
Significant photoshopping (duh) - too many steps to remember. Going for the effect. The smoothie king sign was not noticed until looking at this on the computer.
Here is another version of a famous cold treat: the Orange Creamsicle®. Easy to blend, this tropical beverage will become a favorite for this summer.

This is possibly the nicest banana smoothie I've ever had. Seriously, it was fantastic. I almost went and asked for a second one. It features soy milk and almond milk I think and might be sweetened with agave? I'm not sure, but basically it was like drinking vegan crack. A++
Breakfast today was a gorgeous smoothie bowl. It consisted of frozen bananas, fresh papaya, and fresh pineapple. A sprinkle of flaked coconut and a drizzle of blueberry syrup finished it all off.
