What though the radiance
which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass,
of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death,
In years that bring the philosophic mind.
-- William Wordsworth
Down around the corner, half a mile from here
See them long trains run, and you watch them disappear
Without love, where would you be now
Without love.....

“Windmills” --Poem by Lorie Robertson
The windmills of my mind
Are like blades of memories
Pushing through strands of time
Lingering here and there
Making one so aware
Echoes of thoughts that hover
Images one longs to recover
Through a hazy and sleepy mist
As if pouring over a long, long list
See the windmills constantly turning
Bringing back tender memories burning
Deep within the recesses of my thoughts
Jumping out at me as if I am caught
Looking through the mirror dark
Reality and fantasy all too stark
Memories bloom like fragrant flowers
Fragile images that linger for hours
Thoughts as if each one a page
Life's memories dancing on a stage
So the windmills of time keep spinning
Each day a lifetime all for the winning….
