pj & i drove up to ranger, ga yesterday and we picked up the little (30lb) cutie above. she is a rescue french bulldog that was given up after her services as a breeding dog were no longer needed. as far as i know, she only had one litter...i am not too sure of her past, but i know it was not a very good one.

she was pretty stressed out and unsure of her surroundings yesterday. pebbles and unyen are still a bit unsure of her, but they are making progress. she wiggles all over when it is time to go outside and gets super excited at the sight of her harness & leash. she is a true couch potato and loves to be loved on.

it's going to take a bit of work but she is definitely in a better place now.

I was trying to get good shots of her with the sweater I crocheted. She looks so pitiful and tired.

Just can't help it..:p It happens all the time. I would be reading a book and there he comes, gets himself comfortable ON me, and then he is happy. And his face has so many funny expressions..:)

Hmmm, today was a weird day... it involved little sleep (for I never get to sleep on Sunday night...) weird weather (with heavy rain, winds and blue skies switching every ten minutes), me being a bit short and grumpy to my co-workers (sorry for that guys) and well, lets just call it a Monday..

Now, I am showered, room all cleaned up and I found out that one of the fun room-mate has returned to the corridor!

So, I'll head for bed now, doing a bit of reading and going to sleep with a happy mood, even if it was a weird day..

And ya know what? feels good to be doing a little semi-ranting about the days activities/strangeness again =) I've been slacking with my 365 for quite a bit.. not that I have missed a day... but the quality... well, it could have gotten a bit more attention ;-) But, I am going on no matter what =) I'm set on having a perfect 365 for once! (since the first 365 I missed a day somewhere at the end... that won't happen to me this time =))

The next morning, much of the shelter is slow to wake. Don't let the brightness of the photo fool you. It's a bit fuzzy because of a longer exposure and my shaky hands.

We had a bit of a photo shoot in my friend's room. His walls are painted orange & the room gets just the right amount of sunlight in the afternoon.
