The road crosses the desert under a stunning sky full of clouds and light streaks on the land. In the American deserts is easy to view this kind of spectacular scenarios, and it is not possible to get bored photographing them.
This receding storm produced a tornado a mile from where I lived. The colors and layers were amazing, and no one photo can quite convey the grandeur. Colors ranged from icy turquoise to intense golds and pinks, and everything was swirling and counter-swirling.
I’m digging through the archives again today due to a bit of surgery and the excessive heat.

Every single evening you have a special sunset at that place (Pisciotta, Cilentano, Italy). Sometimes I thought: "Well, not again ... But maybe this time it's different?" And the next evening it starts all over again.
I promise, I show only the best ;-)
This is a view of which I never tire - there is so much going on - the old hulks on the shore of the inch (island) used to stabilise the banks, Wallace's Monument and the Trossachs behind, this time with the first good snowfall of winter
Natural processing I could see this scene and it looked magical.

Just couldn't resist this one while we were at Galaxidi. It felt like like the place was teasing me and my camera, presenting me with new images, playing with every little trick in its sleeve. Ohhh well who am I to deny that play... It was game on from the get go, I just didn't know it then!!! :-)
This shot was a happy accident. I was on route one morning to shoot the sunrise at Loch Leven in Perthshire when as I crested a hill I caught sight of this view in the rear view mirror. I was concerned that if I stopped I would be late for the sunrise on site and miss out on the planned shot. I was about half way down the other side of the hill when I decided to stop and go back for the shot at the hilltop. I’m really please I did because not only did I catch some fantastic clouds and colour in the sky when I did finally make it to the loch it was completely hidden under the thick blanket of mist in this image. Good call!
Amazing storm clouds at Melbourne, Derbyshire at sunset this evening, within minutes I was being hailed and sleeted on and then within another 5 minutes it was clear again...awesome weather

If you are wondering about the angle - the flowers were growing on top of a wall, so I'm looking up when taking this.
