Spotted on Gore Street in Vancouver's Chinatown.
I recently got a new Automatic Ford Focus SE Hatchback. After Getting my hand controls put on and driving for a bit I have been experiencing weird behaviors in the shifting. It seems to shift hard at times, oddly rev high when it doesn't need to during deceleration. And, plainly just doesn't know which gear to be in at low speeds. I have taken it to the dealer to have checked out and when I first brought up the issue they were aware of the issue. They said I could bring it in and they can check it out. If it really bad they will have the transmission retuned. Or, If they find it to be within normal specs there is nothing they can do. He proceeds to tell me if the problem persists that I can have it "re-tuned" at 5000 miles. Anyone else Having This issue?
Setting off in just a few hours... can't wait to be in the gorgeous, gorgeous West again :D Utah, Colorado... Yeeeehaw! (Promised myself I'm buying a cowboy hat this time!! A sales lady in Utah was unsuccessful to convince me last time haha)

To finalize my bike week, I bring you another new bike. This one is special to me as the colors and overall appeal really landed as I hoped it would. Now I hope to wake up tommorow and find a 10 times bigger version in the garage ;-)
This FLHR type Harley has a twincam 96 cu engine and sixspeed gearbox. This setup origins from 2008.
There are a fair number of modifications on this custom bike. First of all there is a lot of chromed extra's including part of the fuel tank. The final drive is changed from a belt to a chain, and custom bags are added that host some massive custom exhausts.
This is a true 'bagger', as these types of Harley's are often reffered to.

First displayed at Comic Con 2014, the full-size Darth Vader car is probably the most well-known real-life version of the 1/64th scale Darth Vader die-cast model. Designed by Bryan Benedict and custom built by Billy Hammon, the Darth Vader car is a fully-driveable, two-seater car based on a Corvette C6 chassis with a 430-hp 6.2-litre V8 and six-speed manual transmission.
The custom-built fibreglass body was inspired by Darth Vader’s mask and the wheels are custom built specifically for the Darth Vader car. The cabin has no doors but it does have a power-operated helmet roof that rises up, and a windshield that swings forwards to allow access to the cabin. Resembling Darth Vader’s mask, the nose has three screwtips that function as working headlights and turn signals. There is no rear window, just side mirrors.
The side pipes are meant to resemble Darth Vader’s light sabre, but they aren’t really exhaust pipes – the real exhaust pipes exit at the rear.
The Darth Vader cabin seats two people and includes one of the original light sabres used by the Darth Vader character in Star Wars. The cabin also comes with breathy Darth Vader sound effects.

This concept Jeep has a real 3/4-ton frame, solid front and rear AAM 3/4-ton axles, a 325hp 600-lb-ft torque 5.9L HO Cummins Turbo Diesel mated to an NV5600 six-speed manual tranny and a huge NV273 part-time transfer case. Most of these components not only sound badass, but don't they sound a little familiar? They should, since the Jeep Rescue is based on an '04 Dodge 2500 truck.

i doubt i'll go back to an automatic anytime soon. and tiptronic can't touch a clutch and throwing around that gear shifter.
I spotted this 2013 Dodge Dart Rallye at Johnson Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Kia in Meridian, Mississippi. The Rallye is equipped with the 1.4 liter Fiat MultiAir turbo engine. This example has a six-speed manual transmission.
The Dart is the first all-new Chrysler model to be developed following the 2009 Fiat-Chrysler merger. This looks to be a nice little car. Quite an improvement over the outgoing Dodge Caliber it is replacing.
