Writer/Director George Lucas used the trappings of the "space opera" form originating in the 1920s to tell a heroic, coming-of-age story with human dimension and mythological scale. His Star Wars movies are among the most influential ever made, both technically (in special effects pioneering) and commercially (grossing well over a billion dollars combined). Characters and colloquialisms featured in his epic saga are now deeply ingrained in the lexicon of popular culture. He created a universe that rivaled and permeated our own.
I was 11 years old in May of 1977, at the time of the first Star Wars film release. Being an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy novels growing up, the affect the movie had on my young psyche was incalculable and indescribable in its enormity. I made scrapbooks from newspaper and magazine articles, fashioned an entire Darth Vader costume out of cardboard and fabric, and spent the rest of my teenage years trying to become more in tune with "the force" of life around me. It was my official initiation into Geekdom.
Once the ravenous onslaught of fanatics get their collective space rocks off, I'll make a point to sit myself down at the local theater with a bucket of popcorn covered in imitation butter-flavored grease and see the final installment in the series. I'm certain I'll feel as awe-struck as I did 28 years ago. Amazing how a movie, book, or piece of music can spark the imagination like a star in the night.

Here's my first Darth Vader Gundam since 2013's TIE Advanced Sazabi, my Sith Interceptor Gundam. I combined an IBO frame with the Gundam Astray Noir and Vader's Sith Interceptor.
Scimitar (Sith Infiltrator)
A midi scale build of the Sith Infiltrator. Another one of my personal favourite starships from Star Wars.
I made a similar design years ago, but I've updated it some more. Still using the Lowell sphere build for the spherical cockpit area.
This moc can fit a minifigure, though it's a bit of a pain to put in due to the structure.

I drew all these Sith Lords yet i didn't draw Vader , so here he is ! (Also sorry for terrible lighting)
I realize the USAF has had a pilot shortage for some time, but putting a sith lord in a F-15E cockpit seems rather extreme.
Yep , there's the sith trooper from the sith empire I was talking about.
Yes , I know in KOTOR they are silver but I need to get the stuff to make more silver ones. For now this guy is it. He looks really futuristic doesn't he? Underneath the visor is a tanned body glove head like that on the sand troopers from last year. His weapon of choice is a Brickarms advanced battle rifle. Also , I won't make as many white ones as silver ones. The silver ones should pop up around this January after BFAL when I get the figs I need to make them. More sith empire figs coming up!
THIS IS NOT ONE OF THE VADER CLONES FROM TOR. Lego already made both types of those , and as well I don't like that design (except for the red korriban ones)

Let me know if you think I should take the Lego visor off and reverse the head to more mirror how the visor is on the sith in the game.
