Oatman, Arizona. One of the more charming tourist traps, but still. It's a short drive from the house, so we come mostly for the Oatman candy store.
Wishing all a fine Tuesday.
The story of King Pedro and his queen is "creepy" to say the least.....

I have decided my dream job would be that of a lighthouse keeper! Of course I don't think I would want it when there was a major storm brewing, but on days like this one DEFINITELY!!!! This is the inlet side of the island, on the other side is an AMAZING beach facing the ocean!!!! Fantastic place to explore!!!
Thanks everyone for your generous views, faves, and comments!! I so appreciate it!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!!

I am a big fan of cemeteries. On a list of must do things in Zagreb is Groblje Mirogoj. So we went. Kind of. It was a rather complicated affair trying to get in, which depending on how you look at it is a good thing for a cemetery. From a siteseeing perspective, it was just frustrating, even more so when we figured out the "secret" for getting in, which we didn't actually do because we were out of time. This is Christ the King Church at the entrance to the cemetery. Color conversion from infrared.
Winter and Fog at Petrie Island, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Strange event this time. Lots of ice and snow on the ground. The outside temperature raised to 11 degrees Celsius. The increase in temperature and the sun created a lot of fog. This is what I have tried to capture here.

A few hundred yards on the other side of the lagoon from St. Mark's Square lies the isola di S. Giorgio. Here there is the campanile of the church and monestary of San Giorgio Maggiore. Next to this there is a small marina and on either side of the marina there appears to be two small lighthouses.
