This is a composite of 3 images. The first is a miniature scene of the bar where I used a canon 580 EX II and ambient light from two pendants. For the two people I used the Canon 580 EXII as a spot light and a Youngnou 565 with an umbrella as a fill.

I worked for a few years on Johnston Island and they had some pretty simple bars on that island. One, The Manila Machine was no more than a sheet of plywood, tin roof and some crates to sit on. But the company was good and the beer was cold and in the middle of nowhere on a tiny Pacific island that is what matters most. This little bar (?) along the trail to Buraco do Padre reminded me of those bars back in the day. Shot with a Fujifilm X-T5 and a Laowa 9 mm f2.8
