The Wimbledon ladies singles trophy. This is the real one which is kept in the All England Lawn Tennis club. The winner only gets to hold it briefly after the match. The winner then gets a replica. A scale replica is on view in the Wimbledon museum.

This is a composite of 3 images. The first is a miniature scene of the bar where I used a canon 580 EX II and ambient light from two pendants. For the two people I used the Canon 580 EXII as a spot light and a Youngnou 565 with an umbrella as a fill.

Cultivating my new-found love of Romney. The reds in this are delightfully rich and vibrant.
These peonies have been so fascinating to shoot because the petals are always curling in different directions. There are very few left now, a too short season for them, but I keep hoping for that one remaining shot that is just what I want it to be. I've shot them in morning light, mid-day sun, and close to the end of the day. This particular variety doesn't smell, but the color has been amazing.
