The Philips large air fryer has been a great investment, unlike many other “I’ll use this to eat healthier” kitchen gadgets I’ve bought in the past. I recommend it for anyone HappilySingle™ like myself. The strategically placed Kidde Fire Safety extinguisher is in that corner only for space & convenience. It is not suggesting that I ever had any cooking fire disasters, thank God!

I’m not a big fan of pasta. Italian food wasn’t common in Pakistan until a decade ago. My niece and nephews probably consume it more now in Pakistan than I do here.
But as kids my siblings and I loved macaroni, which had been brought from abroad by someone. Our beloved mom made it and introduced us to it. Sometimes I’ll make things like that (not plain macaroni & cheese) in memory of her and those days.
The “making of” story I had posted earlier. (Microwave Oven. Air Fryer. Slow Cooker. Rice Cooker. Toaster Oven. Barbecue Grill. I use one or two of these on the rare occasion I “cook” something. This time I put three to use in parallel.
Philips Air Fryer, Chicken Parmesan. Toshiba Rice Cooker, pasta. Panasonic Microwave heated pasta sauce. Around 15-20 minutes total with maybe 3-5 minutes total prep time. Anything reaching 10 minutes of prep or cleanup time is not for me!)

I love salmon. Plus I would est a lot more veggies at home too. But I despise real toiling in the kitchen cooking. Thankfully the air fryer and the microwave enable me to sometimes enjoy something like this.
I make my own always random marinade in about 2-3 minutes,. I then soak filets of salmon (the only fish I really enjoy) a day of so in the fridge.
Then 12-14 minutes in the air-fryer for the fish, and 5 minutes in the microwave for the frozen vegetables, and voila! I’m eating a home cooked meal - without messy and tedious traditional cooking. A few drops of various sauces or mustards for my visual and culinary satisfaction, and it’s worth a quick picture. The pink/dark coloring varies depending on what I included in the mix.
I’m so thankful that each time these combinations of my secret (meaning I never remember or repeat the recipe) marinade have turned out just like, or even better than, most restaurants’ that I’ve had salmon like this.

Just a quick 180x180 selfie in a bathing room in the blessed Florida home. Yes, it is pretty sparse since we guys rarely need much dresser space or walk-in closests & changing rooms as I’m blessed with.
I’ve always been “HappilySingle!™” and content with my life, whether I was in the early construction days of my family home in Lahore in the 1980s, my Columbia apartment in the early 1990s, the upper east side place in the mid-1990s, or the truly dream and fantasy homes on the beaches of New York and Florida since. In all cases, the happiness, the joy, the love & lust of life & love have come from deep inside me, erupting into the love-filled souls of those whom I’ve loved and been loved by over the years in a frenzy of unconditional & unadulterated love & passion.
I believe if you can’t be happy by yourself you’ll never be happy with someone else either. The world is full of unhappily alone people just doubly miserable together. That’s not for me. But I’m also not a forever confirmed bachelor.
I am actually an old fashioned romantic at heart as well. When I’m not in ongoing serious relationships I always leave the “her” sides of double vanities & counters — in my NY & FL homes — open and waiting for the beloved breathtaking goddesses whom these spots would love to be filled up by. Hope you all have a great Valentines’ weekend, my friends and loved ones, past, present and future, ready to come. ❤️❤️💙❤️❤️
