Claire Sinclair is a talented and beautiful pin up model. She stars in PIN UP, a show at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino. I shot this Polaroid of her while she was doing a signing at the Bettie Page Clothing store inside Planet Hollywood.
Originally the centerpiece of a Sinclair Oil exhibit at the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair, Dino the dinosaur remains one of the most recognizable corporate logos in the world.
A pair of Union Pacific motors drag a freshly loaded coal train into the yard at Helper Utah from the near by Co-op mine. The train will head west from here but not before tacking on some helper power to assist the trip to Soldier Summit.

This is next to where the old house was on the farm where I grew up. In 1980 my parents built a new house about half a mile away next to the highway. I pumped many gallons of gas at this pump.

We saw the Sinclair signs on Auto Exchange in The Plains, Ohio. I wonder how long since an actual Sinclair station existed in Athens County?
The best reason to live in Port Orchard, though no urban sprawl (but that may change with the prices on the east side of the Sound sky-rocketing), fishing, an Olympic rain shadow, and good shopping help.
On Route 66 at night, we stumbled upon this Sinclair station, a remnant of a time when gas cost 15 cents a gallon.
