Leave it to today's youth to think a rollercoaster simulator is cooler than the real thing!
This is a lunar eclipse simulator I built in about 30 minutes after realizing the weather was a bit too cloudy to always have a good view of the moon. It uses an Arduino UNO, a ShiftBrite Shield, a ChronoDot, a ShiftBar, and a Satellite Module 001. The code is very quick 'n dirty, it just dims the moon as it enters penumbra, starts tinting to red-orange as it passes through umbra totality, and reverse the process. All in real time, synchronized with the ChronoDot.

Slack day on the final day. I was invited to have a go.
Feedback is very realistic - the whole seat console vibrates and moves with the 'motion' of the crane.
This is from Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I'm the B737 (Blue and White), and there's also a B747 (White with Red stripe) and a Beechcraft Baron (Tiny twin engine.) This is what Flight Majors do for fun.

Really cool space shuttle landing simulator app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. It only covers the last 5 minutes of a shuttle flight (approach and landing) but it has lots of options and it's only $1.99. Check out www.f-sim.com/test2/ - also my blog post: flyingsinger.blogspot.com/2010/12/ipod-shuttle.html
To enter the flight simulator mode, press Ctrl + Alt + A (Command/Open Apple Key + Option + A on the Mac)

An old version of Flight Simulator, this is going back some years, hard disk! I bought many editions after this one, but have kept this as it was my first :)
