An old version of Flight Simulator, this is going back some years, hard disk! I bought many editions after this one, but have kept this as it was my first :)

He flew from Anglesey (well a virtual one anyway), over Snowden, up towards Llandudno, before returning along the coast with the A55 to the left, with a spectacular negotiation of the Menai Bridge (he went UNDER it) to finish.

The ENCHANT camp (ErgoNomiCs and Human-Automation iNteracTion) features four stations where the campers see and interact with the latest robotic/automated technology. In the camp, they use motion sensors to create images on a computer, drive an autonomous vehicle in a simulator, control a robotic arm, and learn about different types of robots in our everyday lives.
The camp is supported by Prof. Jessie Yang's CAREER grant through the NSF Human-Centered Computing (HCC) program, Prof. Leia Stirling's grants through the NSF Mind, Machine, and Motor Nexus (M3X) program, and Dr. Sheryl Ulin's outreach grant, one component of the Center for Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, a NIOSH sponsored Education and Research Center.

CUMTD purchased two driving simulators in 2010 with ARRA funds. The simulators are used with trainees to acclimate them to the controls and basic maneuvers of a bus. These high-tech tools are also useful in retraining for experienced operators. The software was designed to replicate the community we serve. This allows our trainers to recreate an accident that occurred and discuss improvements with an operator.
There is also tremendous benefit for the environment. The simulators take our buses off the street, which saves money and reduces general wear and tear. Manufacturer's website: faac.com/index2.html
