Auburn University student Joseph Young uses his night-flying skills in a new Fidelity/Motus 622i Advanced Aviation Training Device, a full-motion flight simulator that can be programmed to replicate a variety of aircraft. Auburn officials recently dedicated and named the machine as the Solon Dixon Simulator in honor of Solon Dixon, a 1926 graduate of Alabama Polytechnic Institute, now Auburn University.
This is a Comet 4 simulator built into a Comet 2 body. Simulator by Redifon. de Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre, Salisbury Hall, London Colney, Herts.
Saw this in the mall. People get inside and experience 78mph. I used to live in FL so I had to snap a shot of this and email it to them. Too funny.

Basically, it's a giant Playstation.
This was on the 5th floor of the building we were working on, so the car had to come up, in pieces, via the goods lift! Our client at the time was HSBC and they were holding a marketing event to try and attract tennants for this building. There were also Rally Simulators and pit girls - possibly one of the hardest days I've ever had at work*! :)

Different earthquakes from arround the world can be felt in this simulator up to a maximum strength of 6. Shaking and vibrating cannot be seized by the camera, but the movements of the lamp and the calendar at the wall are recognizable.
