We love words in We're Here! and this messy rendering is a quote from a Simpsons episode. The Last Temptation of Homer when he gets a crush on a new coworker named Mindy. These words are written on the hand of another coworker who happens to have a giant hand.
Fun fact: I wrote this on my hand without my reading glasses. I mean, they're reading glasses, not writing glasses!
Day One:

Now don't cry, it'll only hurt for a moment....and then followed by the torturous agony of everlasting hell and damnation and Scotchtoberfest? Really, you though that no one would notice? You...you...I mean I don't. No I can't even look at you right now. If I could pluck out my eyeballs so that they may never fall upon you again I would. Alas I'll just have to settle for yours instead. Oh there's no need to be like that. You're just being childish now. If you're going to do things like this then you'll have to live with the consequences.
Oh dear maybe I shouldn't have done that. Now you wont see it coming and I so wanted for you to see what's in store for you. It was so, so, well it's so indescribable. Um well it's pointy. Pointy and sharp. Pointy and sharp and ticklish. Yes ticklish, at least it made me giggle when I thought about what I was going to use it for.

I don’t know what I was thinking when I though smoking two Lucky Strikes at once was a good idea. I didn’t even draw any smoke into my lungs, what a waste. I got this pack as a joke the other week so I wouldn’t feel so out of place when my girlfriend smoked. Well, the other day she told me she is trying to quit. I decided instead of having cigs lying around as a temptation to her, I should get ride of them. I should have just thrown them out.
Inside joke, nevermind. Truth be told, I don't think Teddy sees much more than shadows against light, or silhouettes in motion. He runs into everything now, but at least he's moving so slow he can't hurt himself. :)
