This is my little kitten, Simba. Here's the story on how we got this little guy.
My brother was on holidays and so were the parents. It was just me and Jotty (Sister-in-law) sitting at home watching TV. We see a commercial about cats and Jotty says "Should we get a cat?" me: "okay". Next day we went out shopping and passed by petland. I remembered our conversation and said "still wanna cat?" she looks at me all worried but excited at the same time. 3 hrs later we came home with a cat without telling anyone. hahahaha. Talk about being spontaneous. Mom and dad eventually fell in love with him and so did the brother =)
Regardez qui vient d'arriver? Comme 'Hippo' est toujours vivant, même si un peu handicapé, j'ai décidé de commander un second jouet de la même série. Lewis ne recevra "Simba" que lorsque Hippo aura quitté ce monde.
Et pour l'anecdote, dans la même commande il y avait un harnais (encore un, oui je sais) mauve avec un motif de pattes, mais au lieu de ça est arrivé un rouge avec un motif...... têtes de mort !!! A croire qu'ils connaissent le caractère de Lewis.
Look who has just arrived? As 'Hippo' is still alive, although a bit handicapped, I decided to order a second toy from the same series. Lewis will not receive "Simba" until Hippo leaves this world.
And for the anecdote, in the same order there was a harness (one more, yes I know) mauve with a pattern of paws, but instead they sent a red with a pattern of ...... skull with crossbones! Do they know Lewis' temper?

I searched for her for so long.
I love her Face.
Its really pretty.
Its not like the Movie Character.
No one can beat the 90s Mattel Pocahontas.
Even if the Disneystore Pocahontas Dolls are pretty too they are not like the mattel Dolls.

Vedere un leone nella savana tra l'erba alta non è certo cosa facile e senza l'aiuto di Poan la nostra guida masai non sarebbe stato possibile.
Il mimetismo di questi felini è eccezzionale ma i Masai riescono quasi sempre a trovarli seguendo anche le loro tracce e i loro suoni.
Qui ho fotografato 2 leonesse con i loro 5 piccoli che giocano nell'erba: ci hanno visti, sicuramente atratti dal nostro odore, perchè guardano quasi sempre verso la mia macchina fotografica ...
Poan ci racconta che il leone è l'unico animale della savana a non avere paura di nessuno neppure dell'uomo...
Seeing a lion in the savanna in the tall grass is not something easy and without the help of Poan our Masai guide would not have been possible.
The mimicry of these cats is exceptional but the Masai can almost always find them by following their tracks and even their sounds.
Here I photographed two lionesses with their 5 children playing in the grass: we have seen, definitely come because of our smell, because almost always look at my camera ...
Poan tells us that the lion is the only animal of the bush not to be afraid of no man nor ...

Within the span of a few days I went to two different zoos and didn't take any dolls with me either times! But I couldn't resist taking some new shots with the Liccas and editing them with my zoo shots ;D.
I like how the middle shot turned out, who knew my Lion King Simba plush would come in handy, it does kind of look like a real lion there, doesn't it? *Chuckle*
