After the heavy rain that we have recently experience, water running off the mountains hence the River Running Wild!
The Glimmering Light, Off the North Wales United Kingdom Coast, Colwyn Bay. Shooting A Fine Art Long Exposure Black and White of the incoming tide and the glimmering light on the horizon!
On the riverbed just under the waterfall of Fulufjället national park there are a lot of rocky mini waterfalls. Water is rushing through those making an amazing scenery and impression of life.
Spring was in Fulufjället, all the snow was melting, so gorging rivers were everywhere, especially at the down part.

Sunset in Pastels
To successfully catch the colours of the sky and the clouds, when darkness began to set in, I used a 10-stop neutral-density filter, plus a 2-stop soft graduated filter. I also wanted to reduce the sea to a silky smooth texture. With an exposure time of twenty minutes, I think I succeeded on both accounts.
Port Mann Bridge. Went back with the proper equipment. did the longest exposure I have ever shot with an ND8 filter, SIX minutes to ensure the smoothest water reflection

Happy Monday! There’s nothing quite like the serene shores of Wisconsin to start the week off right. Here’s a shot from one of our favorite spots—hope you enjoy it!
Kortom, perfecte omstandigheden. Om meer kun je niet vragen, toch?
Pierfect Conditions
While the water wasn't as wild as it sometimes can be at the piers in IJmuiden, all other conditions left little to desire. The sun stayed visible until sunset, even though I had been afraid a band of clouds above the horizon would ruin the party. There were also just enough clouds to take on the sunset colours, where earlier I thought the sky would be too clear. And while I had to wait for quite some time, the lighthouse lights came on just in time.
All in all, perfect conditions. Don't you just love those?

Whats left of an old jetty at the Lough Neagh Discovery Centre. Using the Big Stopper to smooth the water
Water flowing over some stones below a waterfall. 10 seconds at iso 100 and f36 (I needed a really small aperture to get this long of an exposure during the day. I didn't have an ND filter.) It has a custom white balance of 50000K. I was all done shooting but I decided to shoot one more shot, and this was the last one and the best of the entire shoot.

Amazing sea channels carved out by the rough seas litter the Australian coast near Kiama, 90 minutes south of Sydney. The effect of erosion has created places like Cathedral Rock and Bombo Quarry just around the next headland. This photo was taken very early in the morning before the sun had started to rise over the horizon. At this time of the morning the light is beautiful and there is that anticipation of the day about to begin. I was using a new technology ND filter that used infrared to cut down on colour cast and the result is a stunning sharp and true toned image.

A whopping 410 seconds (almost 7 minutes) with the Big Stopper and the Daryl Benson RGND. Highlights are a little blown out, but that sky turned out pretty well, and I wouldn't change a thing. It was a pretty calm and still morning, as evidenced by the FG tree limbs...look ma, no blur....

I've been drawn to this place in Killaloe, ON as the combination of waterfall and covered bridge provides a tranquil place to relax and a plethora of photographic possibilities.

I was having dinner with family when from the corner of my eye a gorgeous shade of blue drive by. I excused myself and walked outside just in time to catch where this beauty was headed. I followed it for a couple of blocks and was lucky that it parked in a near by lot. I grabbed my phone and took my shots.
I need help. I'm so lucky that my husband totally gets me.
Taken and processed with iPhone.

While in California we stopped for a sunset at Santa Monica Pier. I’ve seen this place photographed by everyone. Why wouldn’t someone stop and take a photo of this awesome pier? Usual reasons probably; work, late for bingo, and a lack of eyes.
This was a 70 second exposure just after sunset using my big stop ND filter. I didn’t get the results I had quite hoped for, but I’m satisfied with what I got anyways. I’ve got a few more shots of this pier that I’ll share on a cold day. I could have used a higher ISO. But better luck next time.
