The Cathedral of the Epiphany of the Lord (another name is the Epiphany Cathedral) is an Orthodox cathedral in Vyshny Volochyok, Tver Region.

The temple was built of bricks in 1810-1814 on the island between the two branches of the Tsna River on the site of a dilapidated wooden church in the name of the Epiphany with a chapel of the archistrategos Michael.
The cathedral was closed in 1931, but not destroyed. The building was used for warehouse purposes. The temple was reopened in 1945.
[Собор Богоявления Господня (другое название - Богоявленский собор) — православный собор в городе Вышний Волочок, Тверская область.
Храм построен из кирпича в 1810—1814 годах на острове между двумя рукавами реки Цны на месте ветхой деревянной церкви во имя Богоявления Господня с приделом архистратига Михаила.
Собор был закрыт в 1931 году, но не разрушен,. Здание использовалось в складских целях. Храм был вновь открыт в 1945 году.]

The village is known for the custom of painting huts. The custom of decorating rural rooms with floral paintings dates back to the end of the 19th century, when village women began to decorate the interiors of cottages with flowers made of tissue paper, cutouts and straw spiders hanging from the ceiling, and flowers painted on the walls. Zwyczaj ozdabiania wiejskich izb kwiecistymi malunkami wywodzi się z końca XIX wieku, kiedy to mieszkanki wsi zaczęły dekorować wnętrza chałup kwiatami wykonanymi z bibułki, wycinankami i pająkami ze słomy wiszącymi u powały oraz malowanymi na ścianach kwiatami. Malowidła wykonywano także na zewnętrznych ścianach budynków, studniach i płotach. W Zalipiu znajduje się obecnie około dwadzieścia malowanych domów
I recently referred to a mushroom as frozen when it was actually dehydrated. There's a bunch of older mushrooms and they loose moisture as they age. Next came a week of clear and dry air with night temps in the 30s. Those nights helped to dehydrate and cause desiccation of the mushrooms. Next has been a week of night temps in the 20s. All of the desiccated mushrooms look like this ~ Gray. I've read that they might last some time like this. It's the young Mycenia with thin cell walls and a lot of moisture the melt away when they freeze.
