This is another species that we can find in Costa Rica but lives in the dim understory where it makes it difficult to expose correctly. Thanks to the good knowledge of friends Gualberto Becerra and Rafa Lau I was able to come home with a nice series of images of this and many other beautiful birds from Panama.

This almost didn't make the flickr page since most of my family members think it's so flat and not so interesting. I guess I'm still the head of the family and it's me who makes the decision. I need to go. My wife is around. ;-)
I will be releasing tomorrow the full shot of this truck.
The rear of the my 2008 Merlin-made titanium Jones 3D Spaceframe can fit a 650B+/27.5+ Panaracer 27.5"x3.5" tire mounted to an older Velocity Blunt 28 rim. The front can easily fit 5" tire with the fat fork.
More shots of the cardinals during the feeding frenzy the other day. Now, if I could just find blue jays in a feeding frenzy... LOL. I don't think that will happen!
Do you want to shoot birds like this in their natural habitat? then you may want to join me in one of my photography tours in Costa Rica or Ecuador!
This was supposed to be my entry for the Nightline City category in the LSB contest. However it didn't fit with my other entry, so I wanted to rework it, since I wanted my team to be coherent.
But then school happened and i didn't have enough time to rework it, which is why I'm posting it now.
Btw, good luck to everyone who entered in the LSB Contest!

This is a LEGO model of the 2-4-6-8-10-12 Wopsononock class steam locomotive designed by the Berliner Werke: sbiii.com/bwrkapoc.html#multplex. OK, I have to divide the tender in two halfs to go around R40 LEGO curves ...

The Nolan is an Apollo-Class science / exploration vessel from the Krakozhian system of planets. Captain Josh Baskin keeps to the ships schedule, as it travels through space. A large team of scientists make their home of the vessel, tasked to study the area known as Perdition in the system, looking for various unknown planets and phenomena.
The science staff make use of three types of vehicles to get a closer look at some other their subjects: larger vessels known as ‘Woody’s’ contain small research stations for extended stays on the surface; short range transports, called ‘short stops’, allow teams to enter the atmosphere of new-found planets; small lifeboats are also available for emergency getaways.
Since the Nolan is away for often years at a time, the vessel utilizes an energy-saving circular wave propulsion system to move it through space. This allows for stability in flight and ease of maneuverability.
As the Krakozhian system is a peaceful place, the Nolan has no weaponry adorning its hull.
