Early-purple orchids (Orchis mascula) are coming back to the reserve though they are growing in abundance on the other side of a dry wall fence. I saw only one last year (www.flickr.com/photos/sergeysmirnov/52073708840/). Visiting the Reserve today I spotted quit a few growing along a steep muddy path. This pair caught my attention. Lymington is a port town on the west bank of the Lymington River on the Solent, in the New Forest district of Hampshire, England. It faces Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, to which there is a car ferry service. It is within the civil parish of Lymington and Pennington.

I just tried to see what the negative version of 'Art' (see first comment box, if you missed it yesterday) would look like………

Then I also turned the picture around to make it more look like a place on the other side. Big fun ;-))

You can see the fences much better now, so …...
