……Epping forest horses & riders. Just back from a week in London looking after our grandson while Dad was away & Mom was at work, also it was his first day at Nursery School age 3¾ - lovely to see him so excited to go - 1st in the queue!! ……Went to Witley Court today (Worcestershire), an amazing place to wander around and imagine what it was like in its days before the great fire in 1937 - so many treasures must have been lost, so sad! The great fountain has been restored and provides a super show every hour, our grandson would love the fountain of the dragonesque statue - Perseus riding Pegasus, rescuing Andromeda, who has been chained to a rock by the jealous Poseidon, from the sea monster.. Well done English Heritage with the restoration here. Alan:-)
