Green-veined white butterfly [Pieris napi] on a Pearl Bush [Exochorda Niagara]
Recently, we’ve been excavating part of the formerly “wild” garden to make a new seating/flowering garden. I had just bought and planted this beautiful shrub and the butterflies have been very appreciative.

A pretty shrub I captured while walking at Warilla South Coast New South Wales. A flickr friend called Pat has told me this is a Lace cap Hydrangea, thank you Pat
At Joshua Tree Park, they are found in abundance. The valley is called Yucca valley after it. In the background are million year old rocky outcrops that are really fascinating.

Clematis Vitalba is also known as Old Man's Beard or Traveler's Joy. A shrub of the family Ranunculaceae, this plant, has such climbing behavior and vitality, it is deemed an invasive plant in many places. Some plants can be suffocated by a thick layer of Clematis vitalba, if not checked. What a price to pay for having stars on Earth.

Jasper likes to sniff around some of the neighborhood shrubberies. Sometimes we see bunnies. Or sometimes we see kitties. All very exciting
