Fez (Fès) is considered the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco. The old medina of Fez was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981.
I love the shops in Newtown! Many still exist with the original shop fronts built in the late 19th century. Not sure of the age of this one but I like the clutter and the seemingly randomness of its wares. Have to admit the Beatles album did catch my attention. I have it on my iTunes!
