Sheehan Run is a waterway that connects Grover Lake with Sheehan Lake, then Sheehan Lake with Grand Lake.
Out here, a 'Run' is the watercourse that connects lakes with other lakes and/or the sea. Sheehan Run connects Grover Lake, Sheehan Lake and Grand Lake, and is not all that far from where we now live.
Larry took this one, This is another of the many lakes near where we live. It isn't very accessible, and in the summer I didn't try to swim there, there didn't seem to be any place to get in. It is fed by Sheehan Run coming in from the right, and is connected to Grand Lake in the distance.
Cindy Sheehan inside the big tent at Camp Casey. Behind her you can see the painted banner honoring her son and the camp's namesake, Casey Sheehan. To the left of the banner is an oversized, painted wooden casket with the names of the Americans who have died in Iraq inscribed on the side.
This impressive, hand-painted banner and tribute to Cindy Sheehan's son Casey hangs inside the tent at Camp Casey. Cindy saw it for the first time just the day before.

Gene Sheehan designed, built and trained staff in the art of building District trails, including the Ipiwa Trail on Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve.
This overlook on Ipiwa Trail was dedicated to Gene. It offers panoramic view of Santa Cruz mountains.

The Tower D2 is an office building, a 171-metre (561 ft) tall skyscraper in the La Défense business in Paris. It is the 13th tallest building in the Paris region.
The tower was designed by the architects Anthony Béchu & Tom Sheehan and constructed in 2015.

Ancient home of the Creek and Cherokee...
I met up with mom, dad, and the twins for a mini-session on the beach in Charlotte.
Strobist: Vivitar 285HV in umbrella softbox high camera left, cranked to full power with a 1/2 CTO gel about 3 feet away... I could barely get f/5.6 out of it, so I had to wait for the sun to dip below the mountains before pulling this off. I clearly need more power. Might be time to splurge for some AlienBees.
Constable Sheahan was a member of the Dublin Metropolitan Police force. He lost in life in tragic circumstances in May 1905 when he was overcome by deadly gas in the sewers of Dublin as he attempted to rescue unconscious workmen. Sheahan’s heroics touched the heart of native Dubliners, as this young man of only 29 had given everything in an attempt to save others. In 1906 a monument to Sheahan was erected, paid for my public subscription, and placed at the site of the tragedy.
This memorial incorporates a water fountain and for many years I have complained that in general fountains in Dublin appear to lack water and in most cases they are badly maintained. Unfortunately, one of my photographs may explain why fountains in Dublin no longer contain water … they are used as asktray by people smoking outside pubs.
This particular memorial is well maintained but it should be noted that it has been recently relocated to make way for the new Luas tram tracks.
