There's a feeling you give me, an everglow.
As my kids practiced going down hill on skis, I opted for snowshoes and made my way through the trees. I love the denseness and darkness of the forest and how the sun still makes its way in.

Thank you to all those who inquired about my coming back to Flickr. So many friendly messages, I really appreciate them all. Thank you also to those who commented on my last post and a special thanks to those who told me to get off my butt as the were tired of looking at that King Eider picture which was posted before Christmas. .... that was enough to entice me to post something new and ....come out of the shadow....the future is brighter .... I hope anyway.... lol
Fountains Abbey (NT), Ripon, Yorkshire, England.
I have taken a similar shot before, indeed it is in this stream in colour but found myself drawn to the shadows again One of the things that fascinates me about Fountains is a way it still exudes power despite being a ruin it must have been amazing when it was a functioning Abbey.
If you get the chance, visit, it's amazing.
