Waiting at the feeders for breakfast, again this morning. This was taken through the 60x scope at about 30 feet.

Yet another version, because I can.

I took this just after sunrise. However, my 18-270mm lens does not like focussing at 200mm in these conditions so I had to use manual focus. The resulting shot was not very sharp so I applied the same technique as in the previous photo. (Overlay in blend mode, high pass filter at 10 pixels, hard light in blend mode.) This significantly improved the sharpness of the image. I've also cloned out two lots of electricity cables that are the bane of my life when taking sunrises at this time of year.

I couldn't believe this guy was sitting right outside my window. My backup camera(d70), was right here and I snapped a few shots threw the window and screen on my old 70-300.

 

I'm impressed with the shot i got.
