Yes, that is one cutoff, one pant leg on Quint there. My best guess (Apart from shark attacks) is that he grew tired of rolling up his right pant leg to keep from getting caught in bike cranks.

This year at the auto show, I got bored taking pictures of cars, so I decided to undertake a little project: I would go up to the saleswomen--so obviously chosen for their abilities to lure men to cars--during their salespitches, point my Lomo LC-A at them, and wait for them to notice me. Once they did, I would snap the shutter and record their reaction to somebody so blatantly taking pictures of women, not cars.

After only six shots of auto saleswomen, I found I had become too self-conscious to continue.
